This year's 10th typhoon Haishen (tropical storm) came into being at 20:00 on September 1st. Similar to Maysak , Haishen will also go northward. The accompanying hot weather in Guangzhou will last for several days.
Starting from September 5th, Haishen will gradually gather force to become a super typhoon and come close to seas southwest of Japan and southern parts of South Korea. According to the route prediction, Haishen will have no direct impact on Guangdong.

On September 3rd, under the control of a subtropical high-pressure belt, hot weather in most parts of Guangdong will continue, with a wide range of highs of 35℃-37℃. In the afternoon, there is scattered thunderstorm, accompanied by short-term gale-force winds as well as heavy rain and lightning.
From September 4th to 5th, most parts of Guangdong will be cloudy with sunny spells. High temperature will loosen its grip for a little while. However, the increased humidity will make people feel sultry. Thunderstorms will be more frequent than before. Residents are advised to pay attention to isolated strong thunderstorms, which come along with short-term gales and lightning.
